Big Island - Travel & Hotel Information

When making your travel arrangements to the Big Island of Hawaii you should to fly into Hilo International Airport (General Lyman Field). Traveling from Oahu where the Alt-Az Workshop is located you will be flying in and out of Honolulu International Airport. We have left Tuesday, Feb. 9 open as a travel day.

Description

The Hilo Bay Hotel is an oceanfront, resort hotel located just under three miles from Hilo International Airport (General Lyman Field). The famous Black Sand Beach is only a mile away, as is a snorkel/dive center and hiking. This is the perfect base camp from where to immerse one's self in the culture and wonders of east Hawaii. A golf course is adjacent to the resort, as well.
